The Thriller, Chapter Two
The Sacred Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom. There was something inherently spiritual about the old fruit tree.

Even now, as it lay dormant overlooking the valley, it still held the same radiance, the same…protection, she had always sought. Tigress had always found peace here through meditation, but peace just wouldn’t come to her tonight. She could hear her friends in the distance as she sat alone, laughing and sharing stories with the panda, as if he had been training with them for years. As if he was one of them.

So, where did that leave her?

Tigress sighed heavily and sat down, looking up at the empty expanse of the night sky.

And if she had to do it right here, in the middle of the training hall, in front of Master Shifu, in front of her friends and in front of the palace workers, then so be it. It was one thing that he earned his place among them as a master, took all the glory for defeating Tai Lung, and still had enough energy left over to stuff his fat face until it exploded…

I got this idea from a Garfield comic strip that showed Garfield sitting under a tree watching the last leaf on a tree. As it's now Fall and the leaves are changing, I thought it seemed appropriate. Comments welcome.

Awww. I love the grayness of the picture. It seems to detect a sort of lack of life within something... perhaps of summer? The leaf and Garfield's color remind me of lasagna, which Garfield loves.

With the way your drew the tree and the rest of the scene, Garfield seems a bit out of place to me. The tree is detailed and gives the scene a bit of a gothic feel, while the addition of Garfield seems like an after thought.

I do love the tree though and I would like the piece better if Garfield either wasn't there or if his style match the rest of the drawing better.
